The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has opened the 2026 virtual spring session of its International Fellows Program, with record participation for the spring cohort. More than 200 insurance regulators from 42 jurisdictions are taking part in the session, which runs through May 8. The intensive course is designed to deepen foreign regulators’ understanding of the U.S. state-based insurance regulatory system and the NAIC’s role in supporting state regulators, including through engagement with NAIC technical experts. Participating jurisdictions span multiple regions, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and North, Central and South America.
