The National Bank of Serbia published an update that payment institution Dunav – Union d.o.o., Belgrade joined the IPS NBS instant payments system on 15 August 2025, enabling its customers to execute transactions through the system. The firm entered as an indirect participant, described as a person with indirect access in IPS NBS. Instant payments for Dunav – Union’s clients will be executed through OTP banka Srbija joint-stock company, Novi Sad as a direct participant in IPS NBS. The central bank noted that IPS NBS operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round, with payees receiving funds within a few seconds.
