The Jordan Securities Commission organised an internal awareness workshop, in cooperation with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, on correct practices related to the integrity standards underpinning Jordan’s National Integrity Index. The event was held under the patronage of the Commission’s Chairman, Imad Abu Hultam, as part of efforts to embed integrity principles across the public sector. The workshop covered how the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission operates, its law enforcement mechanisms, its role in protecting whistleblowers and witnesses, and its preventive role through monitoring the National Integrity Index. Participants also reviewed the integrity criteria referenced in the index, including the rule of law, accountability, justice and equality, equal opportunities, and good governance; Abu Hultam linked the practical application of these standards to improving the Commission’s standing on the integrity index and supporting investment outcomes, including Jordan’s performance on the Corruption Perceptions Index.
