IVASS noted that the technical process of effective blocking may take a few days, and that the total number of abusive sites blocked since the power was introduced in November 2023 has risen to 362. It also warned consumers to be cautious of policy offers made via instant messaging and requests for payment using prepaid credit cards, and to verify that websites appear on IVASS’s official lists of supervised insurers and intermediaries.
