At the Federation of Latin American Banks (FELABAN) Congress, Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) president Roberto E. Silva set out the CNV’s current agenda and described recent regulatory innovations and changes to the capital markets framework, including steps to relax restrictions. He highlighted rules introduced to simplify authorisation processes for securities issuance, including the Automatic Public Offering regime for mutual funds (FCI), financial trusts (FF) and issuers. Silva also emphasised financial education and further work to expand access for new participants, framing the CNV’s modernisation agenda as aligned with the national government’s deregulation policy.
