The Bank of Italy announced that, from 2 March, requests to access data held in the Interbank Register of Bad Cheques and Payment Cards (CAI) will be processed automatically when they are submitted through the Online Services platform using an authorised digital identity service (SPID or CIE) and concern the applicant’s own personal data. Responses will be made available in the user’s personal area, accessible via a link sent to the email address provided at submission. The personal area can also be accessed at any time through the Online Services portal.

The Bank of Italy will automate requests for data access from the Interbank Register of Bad Cheques and Payment Cards (CAI) via its Online Services platform starting 2 March.
