The Central Bank of Iceland has published its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) report to Parliament (Alþingi) covering the Committee’s work from July to December 2024. Under the Act on the Central Bank of Iceland, the MPC must report to Parliament twice a year and the report is discussed in a parliamentary committee selected by the Speaker, historically the Economic Affairs and Trade Committee. Since the previous report, the MPC held three regular meetings, with the latest on 20 November 2024, and the Bank has also made earlier MPC reports available online.
