The State Bank of Vietnam has published the Governor’s decision to transfer and appoint Do Anh Quan and Pham Thanh Ngoc as Deputy Chief Inspectors of the State Bank of Vietnam Inspectorate. The appointments are for five-year terms from the date of transfer and appointment. Do Anh Quan was previously Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Regional Branch I, while Pham Thanh Ngoc was Deputy Head of the Legal Department. The State Bank of Vietnam framed the move as strengthening the Inspectorate’s leadership capacity in response to increasing workload and complexity, with the Standing Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam Party Committee endorsing the addition of two deputy heads drawn from experienced staff elsewhere in the system.
