The Central Bank of Kenya has published a draft Kenya National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) for 2025–2028 and invited public comments. The draft strategy is intended to consolidate progress on financial inclusion by coordinating initiatives nationwide and reducing fragmentation across policies, initiatives, innovations and programmes. Developed in collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders, the NFIS 2025–2028 is designed to create greater synergy among stakeholders advancing the financial inclusion agenda. Comments are to be submitted using the consultation template made available alongside the draft. Submissions are due by 9 October 2025 at 5:00pm East African Time.
