The discussion focused on improving coordination on supervisory and internal control arrangements, with emphasis on integrity, transparency and more effective oversight procedures. The two sides reviewed ways to develop internal control tools, raise the efficiency of supervisory procedures, protect public funds and support the soundness of banking operations. They also stressed accountability, effective oversight and continued coordination between the central bank and the inspection authority to support anti-corruption efforts and embed integrity and governance standards across their work.
