The initiative is intended to help regulated entities strengthen preparedness as frontier AI increases the speed, scale and sophistication of cyber threats and raises the risk of unintended outcomes from increasingly autonomous agentic systems. The publication follows letters issued by the regulators in April and May outlining expectations that regulated entities act now to identify, understand and manage risks created or amplified by frontier AI.
