The Ontario Securities Commission hosted a three-part webinar series for Ukraine’s National Securities and Stock Market Commission to exchange regulatory approaches to investor protection, market integrity and issuer disclosure. The initiative strengthened cooperation between the regulators and addressed challenges affecting both markets. The first two sessions covered financial literacy, investor engagement, investment fraud and cross-border regulatory risks. The final session examined financial reporting and continuous disclosure requirements, including AI washing, which involves misleading or exaggerated claims about the use of artificial intelligence.
