The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council’s member agencies will make changes to the Uniform Bank Performance Report (UBPR) commercial bank peer group population definitions on or shortly after 26 February 2026, updating how commercial banks are grouped for UBPR peer comparisons. The revisions are being led by the Task Force on Surveillance Systems and form part of the review of commercial bank peer groups that began in 2025.
