The Bermuda Monetary Authority has issued an updated Personal Declaration (PD) Form for proposed director and officer appointments under the Insurance Act 1978 and the Investment Funds Act 2006. The revised PD takes effect immediately, and the BMA will not accept previous versions of the PD or any variation of the PD after 1 February 2026. The updated PD Form includes additional information requests, including the individual’s surname, and is available on the BMA letterhead via the Insurance and Investment Funds sections of the BMA website.

Bermuda Monetary Authority updates personal declaration form for insurance and fund director and officer appointments
The Bermuda Monetary Authority has released an updated Personal Declaration Form for director and officer appointments under the Insurance Act 1978 and the Investment Funds Act 2006, effective immediately, with previous versions no longer accepted after 1 February 2026. The revised form, which includes additional information requests, is available on the BMA website.
