The Qatar Financial Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ahli Bank Q.P.S.C. to collaborate on fintech innovation, digital transformation, and the development of Qatar’s financial services sector. The arrangement will use the QFC Digital Assets Lab to develop digital financial solutions and explore digital assets and tokenisation use cases. Both sides will work with technology providers, startups, and other ecosystem partners to advance the development, adoption, and commercialisation of emerging financial technologies. The MoU also supports pilot programmes with QFC technology firms to test solutions in the market, alongside joint events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at capability building and industry engagement. Ongoing coordination is intended to align priorities and support fintech firms seeking to establish or expand within the QFC.
