The Reserve Bank of Fiji has invited further feedback on draft revised minimum requirements for companies raising capital through offers of shares in Fiji. The draft Capital Markets Supervision Policy Statement No. 5 incorporates comments from an earlier stakeholder consultation and addresses transparency in capital raising and the quality of information available to investors. The revised draft has also been aligned with international standards and best practices from selected jurisdictions. Consultation includes existing and prospective share issuers, licensed capital markets participants and companies listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange.
