The Central Bank of the Republic of China’s Party Secretary and Governor Pan Gongsheng visited the National Clearing Center to meet staff and review preparations for the 2025 year-end final accounts, including an on-site check of payment and clearing system operations. He highlighted the need to ensure the safe and stable functioning of payment and clearing systems during the year-end close. Briefings covered year-end final accounts readiness at the National Clearing Center and at selected branches. Pan described payment and clearing systems as critical financial infrastructure and stressed that year-end final accounts work requires close coordination across units, careful organisation, strict implementation of internal requirements, and strengthened technical and contingency support. Deputy Governor Lu Lei accompanied the visit, alongside senior officials from relevant departments.
