The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a lecture at Colégio Pitabel in Luanda on “Fundamentals of Capital Markets, Saving and Investment” as part of its Financial Education Program, aimed at disseminating basic content on saving and investment and explaining the role of capital markets in medium- to long-term economic growth. Representatives included Mário Kadi from the Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication and Noemi de Lemos from the Cooperation Office. The session covered core concepts on different types of financial instruments and the returns and risks associated with each, as well as the importance of understanding investor profiles and adopting habits that support saving and investing in the capital markets, and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment.
