The Central Bank of Uruguay held a new edition of its Central para Vos financial education program for secondary students in Salto. The interactive program used everyday scenarios to build practical skills in money management, financial planning, saving, credit, investment, payment methods and financial security. Vice President Ana Claudia de los Heros linked stronger financial capabilities to better household decisions and the security and functioning of the financial system. The initiative was organized with educational institutions and local authorities, with support from CAF Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. The next session will take place in Mercedes, Soriano, on Sept. 16.
