The Astana Financial Services Authority and the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation, mutual assistance and information sharing on digital and virtual asset activities across their jurisdictions. The MoU sets a formal framework for coordination on licensing, supervision, enforcement and compliance for covered digital and virtual asset activities, including supervisory coordination and the exchange of regulatory experience and best practices. AFSA’s Chief Executive Officer, Evgeniya Bogdanova, said the partnership is intended to reduce regulatory fragmentation and support smoother cross-border activity by providing greater clarity and consistency for market participants.
