The Central Bank of Latvia has authorised investment firm AS TWINO Investments to provide crypto-asset services under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. From 4 June 2026, the firm may provide custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients, exchange crypto-assets for funds, exchange crypto-assets for other crypto-assets, and execute orders for crypto-assets on behalf of clients. The authorisation was granted on the basis of AS TWINO Investments' existing investment firm licence. The firm has been licensed by the Central Bank of Latvia to provide investment services and ancillary investment services since 31 August 2021. Under MiCA, financial market participants already licensed by the Central Bank of Latvia to provide financial services may obtain authorisation to offer certain crypto-asset services.

The Central Bank of Latvia has authorised investment firm AS TWINO Investments to provide crypto-asset services under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, based on its existing investment firm licence. From 4 June 2026, the firm may offer custody and administration of crypto-assets, exchange services between crypto-assets and funds or other crypto-assets, and execution of client orders in crypto-assets.
