The Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) held an Open Doors Day for high school pupils from 25 schools nationwide as part of Global Money Week and the bank’s 25th anniversary celebrations, focusing on practical financial literacy under the campaign slogan “Do You Speak Finance?”. The programme covered money and saving, payment cards, online shopping, payment security, and how to recognise financial fraud through discussions, real-life examples, quizzes, and Q&A sessions. Pupils met Governor Irena Radovic and Vice Governors Zorica Kalezic, Gordana Kalezic, and Milan Remikovic, and received an overview of the CBCG’s responsibilities, including maintaining financial system stability and strengthening trust in the banking sector. The event included a knowledge quiz, with first prize awarded to Grammar School “Petar I Petrovic Njegoš” in Danilovgrad, followed by “Sergije Stanic” in Podgorica and “Danilo Kiš” in Budva.
