The European Parliament Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs will hold its first ordinary public hearing of 2026 under the Single Supervisory Mechanism Regulation and the interinstitutional agreement with the European Central Bank on 2 July 2026, when Claudia Buch, chair of the ECB Supervisory Board, is expected to address bank resilience in the face of geopolitical and artificial intelligence-related risks before an exchange of views with committee members.
