The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market reported its participation in the OSCE international summit “The Next Front Line: Countering New Challenges in the Field of Virtual Assets” in Warsaw on June 24–25, focused on security in digital asset markets and cross-border responses to emerging risks. The event brought together financial regulators and financial intelligence authorities from Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia and Georgia, alongside OSCE experts. Ukraine’s delegation included NSSMC Legal Advisor Vita Forsyuk and Yelyzaveta Revilo, Director of the Department of Strategic Development, and discussions covered regulatory strategies and international cooperation for virtual asset market supervision, implementation of Financial Action Task Force standards, risks linked to DeFi solutions, anonymous transactions and stablecoins, and investigation of financial crimes involving digital assets. The NSSMC framed the exchange as relevant to Ukraine’s ongoing development of a legislative framework for the virtual asset market and its objective of launching effective regulation that supports business development.
