The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) issued a reminder to all licensed insurance companies in Ontario that they must file their Annual Auto Insurance Attestation by October 31, 2025. The attestation is required under the Insurance Act and must be signed by the insurer’s CEO or the most senior officer responsible for operations in Ontario, attesting that the company adheres to Ontario laws. FSRA also noted that insurers must report all Minor Rating and Underwriting Rule Errors for the period January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 by February 16, 2026.
