The Central Bank of Barbados warned that fraudulent emails are directing recipients to an unauthorized “personal BOSS+ investment portal.” The emails, associated websites and contact details are not affiliated with the central bank or the BOSS+ bond program, which the bank administers. Recipients should not follow links, respond, make payments or disclose personal or financial information. The bank advised the public to delete unsolicited messages, verify that BOSS+-related emails use an authorized central bank domain, access information by typing the bank’s official website directly into a browser and report suspicious messages through official channels.
