The Montenegro Capital Market Authority has issued a decision authorising the trading of units in the UCITS fund “Apollo European Equity” on Montenegro’s capital market. The application was submitted by Austrian fund management company Security Kapitalanlage AG via its representative Grawe osiguranje AD Podgorica, and the decision was adopted at the authority’s 141st session on 5 September 2025. Apollo European Equity is described as a UCITS with a European equities strategy focused on developed markets. At least 51% of fund assets must be invested in equities of euro area countries and all securities are denominated in EUR; the remainder may be allocated to other European equities, overnight deposits and other liquidity-management instruments, while derivatives use is capped at 10% of total assets. The fund’s stated objective is to generate high current income through a diversified approach that may include exposure to indices and other equity funds, expanding the set of UCITS instruments available for trading in Montenegro.
