The Vietnam State Securities Commission published a notice requiring individuals named in an attached list to pay the licensing fee for issuance of a securities practice certificate as part of completing the certification process. The fee is VND 1,000,000 per person and can be paid by bank transfer or directly to the Commission. The notice cites Ministry of Finance Circular 25/2022/TT-BTC as the basis for the fee and payment regime and instructs payers to include the recipient’s name, identification number and the type of certificate in the payment reference. It also states that if the recipient does not complete the procedure to receive the certificate within one year of the fee-payment notice, the Commission will issue a decision cancelling the certificate that had been granted.
