The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) took part in a meeting in São Paulo with Brazil’s Ministry of Finance and representatives of the insurance market, with discussions covering green bonds, carbon credits, rural insurance and social catastrophe insurance. SUSEP was represented by Superintendent Alessandro Octaviani. The Ministry of Finance delegation included Finance Minister Fernando Haddad and senior officials from the Secretariat for Economic Reforms and the Secretariat for Economic Policy, while industry participants included the National Confederation of Insurance Companies (CNseg) and sector federations Fenacap, Fenaprevi and Fenseg, alongside other company representatives.
