Discussion topics included the digitalisation of financial services and the use of artificial intelligence, with attention to transparency and the security of automated solutions; supervision of consumer lending across mortgages, auto loans and personal loans; new approaches to market conduct oversight and enforcement; support for customers facing financial difficulties; and regulation and consumer protection issues in the expanding Buy Now Pay Later sector.
