The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported that its specialists participated in the public session of the Annual General Meeting of FinCoNet, held in Dublin on 26–28 November 2025, as part of their professional development. The session focused on exchanging supervisory experience and developing approaches to financial consumer protection as the sector digitalises. Discussion topics included the digitalisation of financial services and the use of artificial intelligence, with attention to transparency and the security of automated solutions; supervision of consumer lending across mortgages, auto loans and personal loans; new approaches to market conduct oversight and enforcement; support for customers facing financial difficulties; and regulation and consumer protection issues in the expanding Buy Now Pay Later sector.
