The Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) announced that it and Lloyd’s have marked the conclusion of Cohort 14 of the Lloyd’s Lab Accelerator programme at an event in Bermuda on 12 June 2025, bringing together industry leaders, innovators and Bermuda-based reinsurance professionals. As part of the programme close, the BMA hosted a roundtable and workshop with Lloyd’s Lab representatives, mentors and Cohort 14 participants, including Supercede, 7Analytics and Tailshift, reviewing product development progress made over the 10-week programme and exploring opportunities to further advance solutions within Bermuda’s reinsurance ecosystem and beyond. The cohort forms part of a partnership between the BMA and Lloyd’s formalised in May 2024, under which Lloyd’s Lab launched a Bermuda reinsurance-focused cohort within its 10-week insurance innovation accelerator.
