The Algeria Market Authority has launched the 12th cohort of its financial market professionals training program, a four month course designed to strengthen the scientific and professional capabilities of participants from the economic and financial sector. The session brings together candidates from various financial institutions, including banks and insurance companies, with the stated aim of improving their ability to carry out their roles and support market development. This cohort differs from earlier editions by including an organized visit to the Tunis Stock Exchange, where participants will review Tunisian experience and practices in financial market and exchange organization. The visit forms part of a mutual training arrangement on financial market development under an annexed agreement signed on Nov. 23, 2024, between the Algeria Market Authority and the Tunisian Financial Market Council. The training runs for four months, with an average of two study days per week.
