Honduras' National Banking and Insurance Commission (CNBS) issued Circular CNBS No.001/2026 approving the “Financial Products – Private Pension and Severance Fund Administrators” data capture tool, requiring authorized administrators to submit monthly electronic disclosures on the financial products and services they offer through the Financial Interconnection System. The measure also requires firms to place a link on their websites to the CNBS “Know and Compare” online tool for users and the public. The monthly report must cover, among other items, general product information, affiliation and withdrawal conditions, commission structures, financial features (rates, amounts and terms), coverages, benefits, requirements and other relevant conditions, following the tool’s Data Reporting Manual. Administrators remain responsible for the content, integrity and accuracy of submitted information, and non-compliance is subject to sanctions under the applicable sanctions regime; CNBS also instructed the relevant CNBS unit to enable the tool and its manual in the Financial Interconnection System. The first submission must cover January and February 2026, with a deadline of 13 March 2026; subsequent months must be reported within the first ten business days after each month-end. The resolution is immediately enforceable.
