The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) met representatives of the National Confederation of Associations and Administrators of Mutualistic Property Protection (CNPPM) and other industry entities to discuss and clarify suggestions submitted to Public Consultation No. 02/2025 on proposed rules for mutualistic property protection operations. Public Consultation No. 02/2025 closed on 1 October and relates to a draft National Council of Private Insurance resolution intended to establish general standards for these operations as part of the regulatory implementation of Complementary Law No. 213/2025. SUSEP has started analysing the contributions received and is holding follow-up meetings, at the sector’s request, to further detail specific suggestions, having also met other industry representatives on 3 October for the same purpose.
