The bank said the clone entity is offering fake investments and falsely claiming to be in partnership with bunq Bank and other banking institutions. The warning states that the clone copied the name and registration details of a legitimate firm, LGIM Managers (Europe) Limited, registration number C173733, which is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland. The Central Bank said there is no connection between the authorised entity and the clone. The unauthorised firm used a purported address at Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 49, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, along with the email addresses info@lgimeu.com, which is no longer active, and office@bunqpartner.com, and the phone number +49 69 9675 5450.
