The Financial Markets Standards Board (FMSB) has launched its 2025 Board mentoring programme, following an 18-month pilot with two candidates. The programme is intended to give individuals who aspire to future board roles governance experience outside their firms while contributing their perspective to the FMSB Limited Board. Depending on candidate suitability and demand, the 2025 intake may include one or more participants. Successful candidate(s) will receive one year of practical experience observing the Board and its committees, hands-on director training, and exposure to FMSB’s work with members, regulators and other stakeholders, alongside opportunities to build professional networks. Recruitment is being supported by Teneo People Advisory through a process designed to mirror a standard board recruitment process.
