The Central Bank of Iceland has posted the Monetary Policy Committee’s report to Parliament (Alþingi) covering the Committee’s work from July to December 2024. The report is published under the Act on the Central Bank of Iceland, which requires the Monetary Policy Committee to report to Parliament twice a year and for the report to be discussed in a parliamentary committee chosen by the Speaker. During the period covered, the Committee held three regular meetings, with the last meeting on 20 November 2024.
