The sector's non-performing loan ratio remained unchanged at 1.6% at end-February 2026 compared with end-January 2026, using the European Banking Authority Risk Dashboard methodology, which includes loans and advances to central banks and credit institutions. The coverage ratio for non-performing loans increased to 62.4% from 62.2% a month earlier. The outstanding balance of total restructured loans stood at EUR 0.8 billion at end-February 2026, of which EUR 0.3 billion remained included in non-performing loans.
