The State Bank of Vietnam’s Party Committee convened a handover conference to transfer and accept six party organisations from the Government Party Committee, implementing Politburo and Secretariat Conclusion 208-KL/TW on reorganising party structures in state-owned commercial banks and financial institutions. The transfer covers the party committees of Agribank, BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank, the central Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and Deposit Insurance of Vietnam. Transfer and acceptance decisions were exchanged at the conference and related handover records and lists of party organisations and members were signed by the relevant organisational departments. Following the handover, the State Bank of Vietnam’s Party Committee set priorities to complete file transfers in line with applicable rules, promptly consolidate organisational arrangements and leadership assignments, and coordinate with relevant bodies to address issues arising after the transfer.
