Uzbekistan's Ministry of Finance reported the adoption of a constitutional law on the Tashkent International Financial Center on July 13, 2026. The center is intended to support sustainable economic development, international competitiveness and domestic and foreign investment through a legal environment based on transparency, stability and international standards. Its mandate covers deeper integration with international capital and financial markets and the expansion of banking, investment, insurance and Islamic finance services. It will also support financial technology, digital assets and e-commerce while protecting investor rights and the inviolability of property.
