The ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) issued an alert concerning Mount Nico Corp Ltd, trading as “MKT Investing”, after the firm’s website suggested it is regulated by the FSRA. The FSRA clarified that it does not regulate MKT Investing and that the firm is not, and has never been, licensed by the FSRA to carry out any Regulated Activities in ADGM. The FSRA reiterated that only firms authorised by the FSRA can undertake Regulated Activities in ADGM and advised investors not to deal with any firm until its authenticity and Financial Services Permission are verified. It directed market participants to the FSRA Public Register to confirm Financial Services Permission, and to the ADGM Registration Authority’s Public Register if a firm claims to be incorporated or registered in ADGM.
