The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has invited applications for a full-time chief executive officer reporting to its Board of Commissioners. The appointee will lead the regulator’s strategy, operations and resources, with responsibility for licensing, market supervision, investigations, enforcement, prudential oversight and compliance with anti-money laundering, counterterrorist financing and proliferation financing requirements. The role also covers capital-market development, responsible innovation, financial sustainability, governance and stakeholder engagement. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s and postgraduate degree, at least 10 years of senior management experience including five years at executive level, and a record of strategic leadership and capital-markets experience.
