Hong Kong's Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau announced changes to the Green Technology and Finance Development Committee, appointing three new non-official members and reappointing 10 serving non-official members for a two-year term from June 23, 2025 to June 22, 2027. The Committee is chaired by the Financial Secretary and was established to help shape an action agenda to develop Hong Kong into an international green technology and financial centre. The newly appointed non-official members are Dr Dai Fan, Professor Gong Peng and Mr Lu Jiahui. Reappointed non-official members are Ms Clara Chan Yuen-shan, Dr Vincent Cheng Sai-yau, Ms Loretta Fong Wan-huen, Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, Ms Poman Lo, Dr Ma Jun, Mr Philip Ng Kim-lam, Dr Conrad Wong Tin-cheung, Miss Vriko Yu Pik-fan and Dr Martin Zhu Yihao. Official members include relevant policy bureau representatives and senior figures from the Securities and Futures Commission, the Insurance Authority, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, alongside other public-sector and innovation bodies; outgoing members named were Mr Wang Hongbo, Dr George Lam and Mr Jonathan Drew.
