The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) received second place in the “Leader in Digital Transformation 2025” category at the III Forum of Leaders of Digital Transformation Plans, organised by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services. The award recognises work led by the CVM’s Information Technology Superintendence on projects intended to improve digital services for citizens, investors and market participants. The forum brought together leaders responsible for implementing Digital Transformation Plans across nearly 80 public bodies. CVM highlighted five years of delivery under its plans, starting with its first Digital Transformation Plan in 2021, with projects reviewed annually and aligned with and monitored by the Secretariat of Digital Government. Key completed or ongoing actions cited include migrating portals to GOV.BR to create a single access point, adapting systems to the GOV.BR single sign-on, digitalising more than 50 services, redesigning citizen-facing systems (including CAP and SAC), expanding Open Data datasets, and implementing managed information security services under the Privacy and Information Security Programme (PPSI). Work under CVM’s 2025–2027 plan, managed by Gustavo Gori Maia (Division of Technology Governance and Management), includes defining actions for the 2026–2027 phase, with delivery led by the Information Technology Superintendence and, in specific cases, other CVM areas.
