At the BATEV construction and housing exhibition, Argentina Securities Commission Vice President Sonia Salvatierra set out the CNV's current capital markets modernization agenda, focusing on deregulation, regulatory simplification and new investment channels for the real economy, particularly real estate. In a capital markets panel, she highlighted measures intended to reduce frictions in market access and expand financing options for the property sector. Salvatierra pointed to the CNV's “Big Bang regulatorio” package, which is designed to remove unnecessary burdens and make access to the capital markets more agile, including an automatic public offering regime for most issuances. She also referred to the CNV's tokenization rules, presenting them as a way to broaden financing and investment alternatives linked to real estate. In addition, she reviewed rules that make real estate financing more flexible through financial trusts and mutual funds, and noted the creation of mutual funds dedicated to granting mortgage loans.
