Discussions covered financial literacy, digitalization and financial citizenship, methods for evaluating the impact of financial education policies, and the role of fintechs, digital payments and regulatory innovation in expanding financial access. Participants included representatives of the Portuguese-speaking central banks, financial and regulatory institutions, international specialists, academics, trainers, institutional partners and Cape Verdean ministries and strategic entities. The meeting was framed around building a common agenda for financial literacy and inclusion across the group, improving policy impact assessment practices and strengthening institutional responses to financial digitalization.
