The State Bank of Vietnam issued Decision No. 2730/QD-NHNN publishing amended, replaced and abolished administrative procedures in the area of banking establishment and operations processed through its One-Stop Shop, reflecting updates under Government Decree No. 162/2024/ND-CP and State Bank of Vietnam Circular No. 33/2024/TT-NHNN on microfinance institution licensing files and procedures. The updated catalogue includes a modified procedure for approving the proposed list of individuals to be elected or appointed as members of the members’ council, supervisory board members, and the general director (director) of a microfinance institution. It also replaces the procedures for issuing a licence to a microfinance institution organised as a single-member limited liability company and as a limited liability company with two or more members. The State Bank of Vietnam abolished the procedures for licensing the transfer of a microfinance programme or project and for notifying the commencement of operations of a microfinance institution. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

The State Bank of Vietnam issued Decision No. 2730/QD-NHNN, updating procedures for banking establishment and operations under Government Decree No. 162/2024/ND-CP and Circular No. 33/2024/TT-NHNN. Key changes include modified procedures for appointing key personnel in microfinance institutions and replacing licensing procedures for certain company structures. Licensing the transfer of microfinance programmes and notifying the commencement of operations have been abolished.
