The Central Bank of the Philippines issued a circular letter to all authorized agent banks and their subsidiary or affiliate foreign exchange corporations advising that a Bangko Sentral Registration Document (BSRD) covering Sanofi Pasteur S.A.’s investment in the Philippines has been reported lost and should not be honored if presented for foreign exchange purchase. The notice relates to BSRD No. A016017-DE dated 18 October 2010, which covers the registration of Sanofi Pasteur S.A. (France)’s foreign direct investment in 1,340,000 common shares of Sanofi Pasteur Inc. A replacement has been applied for, and the lost document should not be accepted for capital repatriation or remittance of earnings, pursuant to Section 38 of the Manual of Regulations on Foreign Exchange Transactions, as amended.
