Chan encouraged CICC to maintain close links with Hong Kong's financial regulators, participate in the development of its capital markets and expand its international business, particularly in Belt and Road markets. The discussions reflected Hong Kong's 2026–2030 development plan and 2026 Policy Address priorities to strengthen the city's role as an international financial center, support enterprise growth and better serve the real economy and technology sector.
