The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held meetings with a delegation from Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market to exchange regulatory and supervisory experience and broaden professional dialogue under a bilateral technical cooperation framework. Discussions covered securities registration, the regulation of Islamic securities, securitisation processes and the operation of special purpose financial companies. The Kazakhstan delegation shared its practices on regulatory requirements for reviewing and approving issuance prospectuses, financial statements and other documentation, the legal framework for green bonds, applying a differentiated approach to corporate securities issuance, and the use of bond guarantees and subsidies. The visit was organised under a Memorandum of Understanding signed in May 2025, which provides for information exchange on market conditions and development, regulation and supervision standards and requirements, innovative mechanisms, and cooperation to improve oversight of market participants.
